Are you somebody that likes to spend a day at the beach and take in the sea air? Well, you’re not alone as many of us who escape the grey British weather love to be beside the sea.
But do you have a particular beach that you can’t help back to on holiday?
Whether it is beautiful golden sand, crystal clear water or just the warmer weather.
Now CV Villas, who are a luxury holiday company, have looked into which beaches have the whitest sand in the world.
Let’s face it, nothing says a picture-perfect beach more than beautiful white sand.
The study used Google Maps images of around 200 beaches and looked at the colour analysis of each shoreline to determine the results.
Sadly, the whitest sand is nowhere near the UK, which doesn’t come as a surprise, however, it is well worth the flight time.
Tulum Beach in Mexico was voted as having the whitest sand in the world after it had the lowest variation from pure white.
Scoring silver Anse Source D’Argent in the Seychelles, which had a variation of 4.3, and Mamari Beach in Greece came third with a variation of 6.5
